TRANSMEDIA

- TRANSMEDIA as it literally means, offers you to explore 3 different approaches to describe your subject matters step by step, starting from static/print/2D, to time-based video/motion, and to user allowed web-based interactive space. Main concentration of this whole excercise is to understand those 3 different materials’ individual characteristics and advantages in visual making and use the qualities to be able to explain what your concepts are. For the concept, each student gets assigned 2 words which have similarity or complementary in their meanings and express them in those 3 different approaches. My 2 words are Communication and Interaction, and the main goal is to pull them away apart as far as possible by focusing on their unique or very typical characteristics.
